Very happy to know that the association is continuing to do well and growing. I had the privilege of being the President of the association around 1981-82 when I was a Professor of IIT-Madras ( now Chennai). During Assam Movement, we published the Brahmaputra Beckons. A bus conductor was killed when a gang of dacoits unleashed a reign of terror at five super buses in Dhubri district on Thursday.The incident took place at Bogoribari in Dhubri in the wee hours where a gang of dacoits halted five West Bengal bound passenger buses at gun point.
