Very happy to know that the association is continuing to do well and growing. I had the privilege of being the President of the association around 1981-82 when I was a Professor of IIT-Madras ( now Chennai). During Assam Movement, we published the Brahmaputra Beckons. Police have arrested a senior Congress leader from Arunachal Pradesh after the income tax officials seized a huge amount of money from his possession in Guwahati on Friday.Identified as Lombu Tayong, the former Arunachal Pradesh minister was captured from Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in the morning.
