Very happy to know that the association is continuing to do well and growing. I had the privilege of being the President of the association around 1981-82 when I was a Professor of IIT-Madras ( now Chennai). During Assam Movement, we published the Brahmaputra Beckons. An eerie silence is prevailing in Karbi Anglong and West Karbi Anglong districts following the death of two people belonging to different communities amid growing demand to evict the non tribals from the hills districts on Tuesday.
