BTAD Inspector General of Police(IGP),Dr L R Bishnoi inaugurated the newly constructed VDP Bhawan at Kokrajhar Sadar police station complex in the presence of high police officers on Tuesday.  It was constructed from police welfare fund for the welfare of VDP men in the district.

Kokrajhar RNB Civil Hospital is now in dire state and turning to be a death trap for poor patients. Two injured on mishap in Kokrajhar

At least two persons received serious injury and former BTC MCLA Madhav Karki along with his son, somehow safe in separate two road mishaps late last night along the 31(C) National Highway near Bismuri in Kokrajhar district.  According to a injured person, a bike head on collided with a Tata mobile van bearing registration AS16C-0383. The Bodo Sahitya Sabha has offered financial support to noted literateure and former general secretary of the sabha Tarun Phukon Basumatary, who is suffering of old age ailment. The wait for compensation for 2008 Assam serial blast victims does not seem to an end.
