Nabajit Das, Lecturer in Zoology, B.H.college, Howly participated in the 10th students' conference on conservation sciences held in Cambridge University on March 24 to 26 and presented a paper on "Bengal Slowlories", the only nocturnal primate species of North-East India. He also successfully completed a one month internship programme at Oxford Brookes University,Oxford from March 27/09 to April 25/09.Mr. Nabajit Das is an active member of Primate Research Centre NE India and at present doing PHD on Bengal Slowlories under the guidance of Prof. P.C. Bhattacharjee, Dept of zoology, Guwahati University.He is the eldest son of Ghanasyam Das and Bhagya Das of Palangdihati, Barpeta .
Dr Nabajit Das , assistant professor of zoology of B H College Howly is being invited to Kenya for his research based work for slow loris. Dr Das will deliver his speech on the causes of distress, plundering for medicine and the reservation on Slow Loris, the only nocturnal animal of north East.this is the 27th international discussion cycle and going to be held in Nairobi on August to 19 - 25. Dr Das is associated with Primate research center and has talking about the slow loris in several countries .
