CJM orders case against CM

A lower court in Guwahati asked Dispur police to register cases against Chief Minister and revenue minister in connection with the self immolation of a KMSS activist.

The court of Chief judicial magistrate on Monday asked police to register cases immediately against the duo on the basis of the complaints filed by Purnima Boro on February 24 after her husband died in self immolation attempt in Dispur.

Notably, Dispur police have been avoiding the complaint citing a number of flaws in the statement of Boro against Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi and revenue minister Prithivi Majhi.
