AGP MP quits party

In a major setback for AGP, Joseph Toppo pulled out of the regional party.

The sitting MP from Tezpur sent his resignation letter to the party leadership in Guwahati alleging that the party is not in a mood to field him for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.

Notably, the party is considering the name of Brindabon Goswami in lieu of the sitting MP.
