Arunachal Cong leader held

Police have arrested a senior Congress leader from Arunachal Pradesh after the income tax officials seized a huge amount of money from his possession in Guwahati on Friday.

Identified as Lombu Tayong, the former Arunachal Pradesh minister was captured from Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in the morning.

 A huge amount of money to the tune of Rs 15 lakhs is believed to have been seized from his possession kept in two bags. Details are awaited.
