Bengali body demands CBI probe
The All India Bengali Youth Student's Federation (AIBYSF) and All Assam Bengali Youth Student's Federation (BBYSF) will stage sit-in-demonstration on September 7 at Dispur last gate in Guwahati demanding CBI probe into the Silapothar and Nagaon incident.
Speaking the News Conference held at Amala Bhawan in Kokrajhar on Sunday, Shyamal Sarkar, president of All India Bengali Youth Student's Federation and Deepak Dey, president of the Assam state federation demanded stern actions against incidents of Silapothar and Nagaon in the state.
The federation have condemned the Nagaon incident which had created resented among the citizens, said that it was created by some so called activities to indulge misunderstanding in the state. They accused of Chief Minister, who had well known about both incidents held at Silapothar and Nagaon, but yet he has been keeping silence into situations.

An woman was killed by wild elephant at Doulguri Lungsung area under Bishmuri police outpost in Kokrajhar late last night. The victim was identified as Pili Kisku(19) wife of Bishnu Hasda of Doulguri Lungsung along Haltugaon forest division in Kokrajhar district. Security forces apprehended three over ground workers (OGW) of Kamatapur Liberation Organisation (KLO) from two different villages on Wednesday morning during search operation in Kokrajhar district. Security forces apprehended five poachers from Bongaon area under Bhuyanpara forest range in Manas National Park of Baksa district on Monday. The poachers were apprehended along with three country made guns during search operation carried out by army and police in the area.
