Bengali body demands CBI probe
The All India Bengali Youth Student's Federation (AIBYSF) and All Assam Bengali Youth Student's Federation (BBYSF) will stage sit-in-demonstration on September 7 at Dispur last gate in Guwahati demanding CBI probe into the Silapothar and Nagaon incident.
Speaking the News Conference held at Amala Bhawan in Kokrajhar on Sunday, Shyamal Sarkar, president of All India Bengali Youth Student's Federation and Deepak Dey, president of the Assam state federation demanded stern actions against incidents of Silapothar and Nagaon in the state.
The federation have condemned the Nagaon incident which had created resented among the citizens, said that it was created by some so called activities to indulge misunderstanding in the state. They accused of Chief Minister, who had well known about both incidents held at Silapothar and Nagaon, but yet he has been keeping silence into situations.

One person died and four others received serious injuries due to road mishap at Labrabati Patgaon in Kokrajhar district on Saturday. According to police, an Eon vehicle bound for Siliguri from Dibrugarh head on collided with a tractor which claimed one person and four others sustained serious injuries on the incident. An woman was killed by wild elephant at Doulguri Lungsung area under Bishmuri police outpost in Kokrajhar late last night. The victim was identified as Pili Kisku(19) wife of Bishnu Hasda of Doulguri Lungsung along Haltugaon forest division in Kokrajhar district. Bishnu told that an wild elephant reached their house by around 11 pm late last night and trampled to death his wife on the spot.Wild elephant some time visits at their village and attacked the villagers,he said.
