UGC sponsored National Workshop on Data Analysis

To enhance the analytical skills for Research works through SPSS (Statistical Package for Social science) which will not only facilitate the Research Scholars in completing their thesis, but will also improve the quality of education, the department of Economics & Statistics, Nagaon GNDH Commerce college in collaboration with Economics & Statistics department, Govt. of Assam, organized 2 days UGC sponsored National workshop which was inaugurated today. The workshop on SPSS programme is meant for the research scholars and the students who are using statistical methods for their projects.


The programme was inaugurated today at Nagaon GNDG Commerce College. Dr. Siba Ranjan Mahanta, Principal of the institution welcomed the guests. The first session of the workshop was attended by Dr. M.K.Sarmah, Professor and Dean, School of Management Sciences, Tezpur University.


The organizing committee also informed that Dr. Jiten Hazarika, Professor & HOD , Department of Statistics Dibrugarh University & Dr Manaspratim Barman of Dibrugarh university will attend the third and forth session of the workshop as resource person.
