The spotting of 5 dead infants wrapped on a polythene bag that was dumped at a dustbin of the Bhogeswari Phookanani Civil Hospital, Nagaon has disturbed the minds of the viewers. According to an eye witness, dogs had already devoured two of these infants whereas the three others remain unharmed and the matter was informed to the hospital authority.

According to the sources, few people noticed the bin which was surrounded by dogs. When the people move closer to the heap of the garbage they were shocked to find the dead infants. The incident of dumping of death infants was noticed near the maternity ward of the hospital. As soon as the news spread, the hospital campus was crowded with people who condemned the hospital authority and alleged that due to improper care during the delivery period, the infants might have died and have dumped the dead bodies into the heap of garbage.
