GVJ-EMRI today organized a Media Interaction Meet in Nagaon Press Club. The meet was organized with the objective of informing about the various challenges faced by the 108 Mrityunjoy Ambulance team in discharging their duties while attending various cases in which media could play a role of creating an environment for them to carry out their normal duties of saving lives. The Regional manager Asif Rahman who attended the meet elaborately described about the various obstacles like bad road condition, traffic jams, poor network connectivity, and dense fog during winter nights etc. which delays the reach time against the high expectation from public.
Rahman appealed the public through the media to provide help to the Emergency Medical technicians (EMT) and Pilots of the 108 Ambulances as smart citizens by providing the way to the ambulance during the traffic jams. Further Rahman told that in case of any complaints, instead of assaulting the EMT, public should lodge any complain by dialing 108.
