Jumbo electrocuted

A male jumbo was electrocuted in a paddy field at  Sagolijhar area, Panery of Nonai Forest Range of Udalguri district on Sunday night.  Dr. Sulab Sarma Vety. Assistant carried out the post-mortem of the jumbo which revealed electrocution as the cause of death.

TANGLA: The Tangla Police,solving the kidnapping case of a minor girl who was missing since June 27 last,apprehended four persons and rescued the minor girl on Sunday. Mercury soars, temperature sizzles at 38 degree celsius

  TANGLA: The temperature crossed 36 degrees on Thursday giving no relief to the people of Tangla town in Udalguri district. The town and its surrounding places  reeled under a scorching sun with people mostly remaining imdoors.
