Normal life in Raha, the name of a historic area in the central Assam district of Nagaon remains heavilly disrupted on Monday following a local bandh call by the former ULFA in protest against the recent attack on a few of their colleagues at Panigaon. Roads in this entire sub urban area wore a deserted look from 5 in thr morning as vehicles refused to ply. Shops and markers, schools and colleges, banks and offices remained closed under the impact of the bandh call which began at 5 in the morning.
