DHD distributes relief to Kolaidisa


To provide relief materials and assistance to the villagers, Dilip Nunisa, Chairman, DHD along with DHD leaders visited Kolaidisa village of Dima Hasao on Sunday where 15 houses were burnt due to jungle fire on Thursday last.


Mention may be made that the 15 houses including APBn camps in village Kolaidisa, some 70 km from Maibang located at the Assam – Nagaland border were burnt due to jungle fire in which the entire populace have lost their all the belongings. At present they are sheltered under trees, but none from the administration could reach the village till date for the reason best known to them.

Delay in fund release to the Dima Hasao Autonomous Council is the prime hindrance of development in the district of Dima Hasao opined conscious citizen of the district.
