ASDC Flays Assam Govt.

The Autonomous State Demand Committee(ASDC) Dima Hasao District Committee took strong exception to Tarun Gogoi-led Assam Govt for its unfair and biased role being played even in the case of the inquiry into the affairs of the alleged diverting funds to militants and corruption in Dima Hasao district, stating that the recent statements as appeared in the media (like The Telegraph,dated 21 September 2011) that Mr Mohet Hojai was allegedly having "unaccounted" money in a Meghalaya bank was a false accusation made against Mr Mohet Hojai and was a political motivated one, the aim of which was to implicate only Mr Mohet Hojai in the case and thereby trying to avert the high politicians and bureaucrat of Assam and the political leaders of Dima Hasao district from being punished (brought to book) in Dima Hasao(erstwhile N.C.Hills) scam, stated
