DMA condemned village burning


The Dimasa Mothers' Association (DMA), Haflong expressed shock at the dastardly act of some armed groups of miscreants who attacked the innocent and armed innocent tribal villagers of Choto Longren and burned down 8 (eight) houses on the night of 13-10-11 and vehemently condemn such act of cowardice. Also make earnest appeal to all civil societies to stand unitedly against such forces inimical to the civilized society. And also appeal to Govt. law enforcing agencies present in the district to conduct hot pursuit to nab the culprit involved in the incident to discourage such evil act in the society in future and check further escalation of social tension.


Moreover, DMA, also expressed concern at the series of uncontrolled criminal activities like firing on goods train, missing of persons, unclaimed took places and last killing of late James of Topodisa taken place in an around Haflong the district Head Quarter Town stated a DMAPress Release.
