AANLA to go on uniliteral ceasefire from Sept 1

The extremist outfit All Adivasi National Liberation Army (AANLA), which was formed in the year 2004 in Nahortoli located in the sensitive area of Assam-Nagaland Border under Golaghat district for the cause of interest and development of adivasi community today declares that it will go on unilateral ceasefire from 1st September. The ceasefire was announced through a press release signed by Deputy Chief of AANLA Peter Dang and District Commander Padmeswar Ghatowal, who expressed their willingness to join the mainstream and settle the problems and burning issues of adivasis through talks with the state and central government.
