voter awareness campaign failed to make impact on Dr.Manmohan Singh, Prim Minister of India, as he did not cast vote here. What do you expect from general public? Though he later on said that he has casted vote throuh Postal Ballot, he had to give the explanation due to report in the media fearing criticism- one feel.

Jorhat child tests negative in COVID19

DIBRUGARH: Amid statewide anxiety and fear the five year old girl from Jorhat tested negative at the regional laboratory in Lahowal on Saturday night. Earlier, JMCH on Saturday morning has referred her and parents for confirmation suspecting it an infection of COVID19 in view of her cough and fever. Guwahati: A suspected COVID19 positive case triggers no less panic in the state on Saturday. According to information, JMCH lab claimed to have found some positive notes of COVID19 virus in the body of a 5 year old girl who complained of fever and cough. The patient along with her parents have wrapped up a visit to Bihar by train a couple of days back. The sample along with the patient have been referred to RMCH in Lahowal in Dibrugarh on Saturday for final test. The confirmation is expected by afternoon. Corona virus lockdown: Dispur seeks to plug learning gaps

As a preventive measure to arrest the spread of Covid-19 in the State, all the elementary/secondary schools and higher educational institutions have been closed down from March 16 to March 29 as per an order issued by the Education department. Meghalaya imposes lockdown

The Meghalaya government has decided to impose restrictions on movement of public transport and to close all shops, markets and establishments with effect from midnight of March 20 to midnight of March 21 throughout the State. Arunachal Pradesh bars visitors

The Arunachal Pradesh government has barred all visitors from entering the State from 21 March. In an order issued on Thursday, the government said that all visitors/tourist inner line permits stand cancelled with immediate effect. Chief Minister Pema Khandu in a tweet said that as precautionary measure, Arunachal is closing its door to all visitors in view of Covid-19 pandemic.
