Assam’s first ever swine flu patient was released from hospital on Monday after a ten day long ‘successful’ treatment. According to the doctors at the Mohendra Mohan Chaudhury Hospital in Guwahati, Dhiraj Yadav, a student pursuing a low curse in Pune has improved much to the relief of the authorities and he has been released on Monday morning.
According to information, fiver other patients are also improving a lot and if this trend continues they would also be released very soon. Similarly, Manmit Gogoi undergoing treatment at the Assam Medical College Hospital in Dibrugarh. Gogoi is an employee with a call centre at Gurgaon near Delhi. The sample of two more persons would be tested on Monday and the results are expected in the evening.
It may be noted that altogether 6 persons have been undergoing swine flu treatment after they tested positive. Two couples are under going treatment at an isolated ward at the Basistha Base hospital in Guwahati.

Supreme Court on Wednesday talked of two options before the government to end the decade old Assam-Nagaland border row.
