SOS Children's Village celebrates Mother's Day

Children at SOS Children's Village celebrated Mother's Day in a small manner at their respective homes, maintaining social distancing  on Sunday.

There are 19 families in the village comprising of 19 mother's, 5 aunties and 257 Children's.

The kids wished their mothers, gifted them hand made greeting cards, bouquets, prepared cake's and other delicacies for their beloved mother and took their blessings.

Apart from this Youths homes of the village too celebrated the day in small manner.  

Village Director Paresh Badyekar said," Every Year this day is celebrated in an befitting way, many dignitaries are invited, mother's are honoured, presented gifts, childern's entrall mother's with their mesmerizing performance but this year due to Covid 19 outbreak we cancelled the mega celebration, however Children's Celebrated the day at their residence."

"We congratulate Mother's and aunties on this auspicious occasion.",he added.

He further appealed people to stay at  their home's, and only come out  following all the guidelines regulated by the government for the well-being of everyone. On the other hand, messages and pictures poured in Social media on Mother's day, people were busy in sharing pictures and captions for their beloved Mother.
