The integrated draft electoral rolls for several Assembly constituencies across Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) districts were published on Saturday, with January 1, 2026 fixed as the qualifying date.
In Kokrajhar district, District Commissioner Masanda Magdalin Pertin published the integrated draft electoral rolls for five Legislative Assembly Constituencies—Gossaigaon, Dotma (ST), Kokrajhar (ST), Baokhungri and Parbatjhora.
In Baksa district, the draft electoral rolls for 41-Manas Legislative Assembly Constituency (LAC) and 42-Baksa (ST) LAC were published at all designated locations across the district, also with January 1, 2026 as the qualifying date.
Eligible citizens can submit claims and objections from December 27, 2025, to January 22, 2026. As part of the Special Summary Revision, special verification campaigns will be conducted on January 3 and 4, and January 10 and 11, 2026.
Voters may submit applications through multiple modes, including the Voter Helpline Mobile App, the Election Commission of India website (voters.eci.gov.in), through Booth Level Officers (BLOs) or the BLO App, or by offline submission at the concerned Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) or BLO offices.
The prescribed forms include Form 6 for new enrolment, Form 6B for Aadhaar linking, Form 7 for deletion of names, and Form 8 for correction, shifting or replacement of entries. Citizens who will attain the age of 18 years on April 1, July 1 or October 1, 2026, are eligible to apply for advance enrolment using Form 6.
Meanwhile, in Tamulpur district, the draft electoral rolls for its two Assembly constituencies—Tamulpur and Goreswar—were published on Saturday. According to the draft rolls, the total number of voters in Tamulpur district stands at 4,25,710, comprising 2,12,853 male voters and 2,12,854 female voters.
In Tamulpur Assembly Constituency, there are 1,08,362 male voters and 1,07,935 female voters, taking the total electorate to 2,16,299. The Goreswar Assembly Constituency has 1,04,491 male voters and 1,04,919 female voters, with a total of 2,09,411 voters.
District Commissioner Pankaj Chakravarty informed that the final electoral rolls will be published on February 10, 2026. Citizens have been advised to contact their respective EROs or BLOs for details regarding designated locations for lodging claims and objections.
