Yet another incident of miscreants attack on girl rocks Guwahati sending huge anger across the state on Monday. The victim, who hails from Golaghat district, has been struggling for life at the Dispur Hospital.The incident took place in Dispur amid heavy presence of security forces in the afternoon where a miscreant suddenly attack the girl with a sharp knife as she was on her way back to the hostel at Nahorini Path.Immediately after the attack the miscreant vanished and the girl who worked at the national sample survey was rushed to the hospital. Railway network in Assam is set to get a major boost. A huge flyover connecting Kamakhya to New Guwahati on the river Brahmaputra river is coming up. Disclosing this minister of state for railway, Rajen Gohain to reporters in Guwahati on Saturday that the two lane flyover worth Rs 888 crore bridge would be a huge boost for surface communication.
