Booked tea manager kidnapped!

Unidentified miscreants alleged to have kidnapped a tea garden manager from the outskirt of Guwahati a week after police lodged a complaint against him in Charaideo district.

According to the first information report, unidentified miscreants on Friday kidnapped Bhaskar Pathak at Rajapara in Boko as he was on his way back to his home after attending a wedding ceremony.

Pathak’s wife further claimed to have received phone calls from the miscreants demanding ran some for her husband’s safe release.

Sources told Assam Times, Pathak who works with the Darjeeling Organic Tea Estate in Mothurapur is wanted for his alleged embazzlement of a huge amount of money meant for the workers’ wage.

The tea garden management moved Mothurapur police before he vanished from the scene and his alleged case of kidnapped strikes controversy.
