Bengali body demands CBI probe
The All India Bengali Youth Student's Federation (AIBYSF) and All Assam Bengali Youth Student's Federation (BBYSF) will stage sit-in-demonstration on September 7 at Dispur last gate in Guwahati demanding CBI probe into the Silapothar and Nagaon incident.
Speaking the News Conference held at Amala Bhawan in Kokrajhar on Sunday, Shyamal Sarkar, president of All India Bengali Youth Student's Federation and Deepak Dey, president of the Assam state federation demanded stern actions against incidents of Silapothar and Nagaon in the state.
The federation have condemned the Nagaon incident which had created resented among the citizens, said that it was created by some so called activities to indulge misunderstanding in the state. They accused of Chief Minister, who had well known about both incidents held at Silapothar and Nagaon, but yet he has been keeping silence into situations.

A 22 member team, comprising 20 students and two teacher guides from different Higher Secondary Schools in Kokrajhar district is on the way to Mumbai,Pune and Goa by train for national integration tour(NIT) under the part of Operation Sadbhavana of the red horn division of Indian army to pave way students knowledge building in their future life in the country. In the inaugural match, NF Railway,Maligaon beat Dhupdhara Football Academy, Goalpara 3-0 goals. One person sustained bullet injury as he escaped the bid on life in Kokrajhar on Thursday. The incident took place at Dhumbazar early in the morning. At-least three armed assailants fired from closed range at Dhmbazar by 5 in the morning, which led the person to be hospitalized for receiving serious bullet injuries on his chest and body. The injury civilian was identified as Rashna Basumatary (33) of Dhumbazar. Immediately after incident, Rashna was first admitted at MRM hospital and later referred to Bongaigaon Lower Assam hospital due to critical condition.
