BSU organizes get-together in Kokrajhar

The Bodoland Students Union (BSU), a student wing of the ruling Bodoland Peoples Front (BPF) party, organized a workers’ get-together programme at Bodofa Cultural Complex in Kokrajhar on Sunday to discuss about working for all round development and welfare of the student community in the region.

The programme was organized by Kokrajhar district unit of the Bodoland Students Union (BSU) and participated from different block committees and units from Kokrajhar Govt College and Bodoland University. The get-together session discussed on various issues, which are included career building, peace and integration among all sections of society.

Hagrama Mohilary, BTC chief graced as chief guest and BTC executive members Doneswar Goyary, Rajib Brahma, were prominent speakers on the occasion.

Swgwmshar Basumatary, president of the BSU told that the get-together session has been organized to create social congenial atmosphere among all sections of communities that are very much needed in today’s era.

‘The BSU was working for the welfare of the student’s in the region since its inception. The students union has been taking strong initiative to make educationally aware among society so that the region can get healthy environment in all aspects like education, career building and social integration’, he said.
