Chief Minister N Biren Singh on Thursday launched a Redmine App in order to facilitate mobile phone SMS correspondence to the people whose grievances have been registered at Chief Minister’s Secretariat on Meeyamgi Numit (People’s Day) and Hill People’s Day.
Chief Minister’s Secretariat will communicate through this App to the persons concerned on the action taken status of their complaints registered on these two particular days.
Biren Singh, the Manipur Chief Minister, said that he received 115 complaints on the Meeyamgi Numit held on May 15 last.
The Chief Minister disclosed that out of these 115 complaints, 15 cases had been solved and 25 cases closed while necessary official communications are underway for the remaining 65 cases.
“People now will not need come again to the Chief Minister’s Secretariat to enquire about the action taken status/progress of their complaints as it would be sent to their mobile numbers through the newly launched App,” he informed.
Biren Singh assured that his government would work out all possible means to resolve all these problems.
