ABSU, ABWWF demand judicial inquiry into Mainao Brahma's death

The Udalguri district committee of All Bodo Students Union (ABSU) and All Bodo Women Welfare Federation (ABWWF) in a joint petition to Narendra Modi,Prime Minister of India demand judicial inquiry in to the mysterious death of Mainao Brahma(27) in Bangalore city on March 21 recently.Daughter of Babul Chandra Brahma of Goremari village in Udalguri district,she was working in JP Morgan company for last six years.Her dead body was found in her room in Koramongala 8th Block on March 21.An FIR was lodged at the Koramongala police station on March 21 by her father (Case No.137/17 U/S 420,306 IPC) against one Pradeep suspected to be involved in killing the working girl.Unfortunately no arrest has been made so far as alleged by the two organizations.

The petition signed by Ratendra Daimary, president,Anup Daimary,secretary, ABSU Udalguri district committee; Swapna Baglary, Secretary and Maloti Basumatary Speaker of ABWWF, Udalguri district committee request the PM India for proper high level judiciary inquiry into the mysterious death of Mainao Brahma;immediate stern action against the suspected prime accused;immediately to provide justice to the family;to ensure safety and security of the students and working people of entire NE staying in different parts of India;to provide Ex-Gratia to the victimized family of Mainao Brahma.The petition also mentioned that Mainao was first brutally killed after which her body was hanged to prove the incident as a suicide case.

A four member delegation of ABSU and ABWWF Udalguri district committee lead by Ratendra Daimari, president district ABSU met Sadhana Hojai, Deputy Commissioner on April 5 to hand over the memorandum addressed to the India Prime Minister.
