Power tiller distributed

Former minister and MLA Pramila Rani Brahma and BTC executive member for Agriculture department Ansumwi Khunggur Boro ceremonially dsitributed Power Tiller under Rastriya Krishi Vikash Yojana(RKVY) of 2014-15 among beneficiaries at a function held at Agriculture training hall in Kokrajhar on Wednesday.

MLA Brahma handed over key and materials of the Power Tiller to 12 beneficiaries of Kokrajhar district in its inaugural, who were given away on subsidiary manner to facilitate agricultural products in the region.

A total of 849 Power Tillers would be distributed under RKVY scheme of 2014-15,Central Scheme of 2015-16 and BTC package among beneficiaries.

JB Brahma,BTC director of Agriculture,M Swargiary,Kokrajhar DAO,senior officials were also present on the function.

As many as 13 fishermen were arrested by Bhutan Royal Army on Tuesday inside deep jungle of Sarpang district of Bhutan while going illegally into the neighboring country.
