Two dies in road accident at Tangla

Two persons were killed and eight others sustained serious injury in a tragic road mishap in MB Road Tangla on Saturday. The accident took place at 7 in the morning when the Tata DI (AS-13C 3353) carrying bazaar merchants  hit a tree in Meskha Pukhuri area under Kalaigaon PS on the way to Puthimari weekly market. Due to the impact of the collision the vehicle overturned.The driver was believed to have lost his control over the vehicle and hit two tree simultaneously.The persons dead have been identified as Bhajan Sarkar (42), Sajal Dey (38). Among those injured include Swapan Sutradhar (35), Sujit Kar (35), Subendra Saha (28), Ganesh sarkar (33), Apurba Pal (26), Ujal Das (26) who have been rushed to GMCH Guwahati. Two other persons Bapi sarkar (30).

Sunil saha (60) who sustained minor injuries are being treated at 30 beded Kala Guru Bishnu Rabha CHC Tangla. The local people and organisations have offered condolences and expressed grief at the accident.
