Kohima wears fresh look

Nagaland is gearing up for Chaga Gadi Festival from October 30. Liangmai community people are all prepared to celebrate the much vaunted festival in Kohima. The Highland Park near the Indira Gandhi stadium in Kohima wears a fresh look a week before the festival.

Liangmai Welfare Society has invited all the Liangmai people to come and join the festival. During the celebration of Chaga Gadi festival Zeliang tradition would be showcased in all the competitions like traditional folk song, solo & group, cultural dance, best traditional  dress attire, couple show , tug of war ( women group) ( Men group )

Tapikaubo( Catching Pig head, etc. and many more entertainment items will be presented.
