An ongoing cycle management workshop gathers no less response in the outskirt of Guwahati. Organized by Assam Don Bosco University at Azara the 5 days workshop is being attended by the representatives from all the north eastern states and West Bengal and Bihar.
ADBU Vice Chancellor Dr Stephen Mavely opened the workshop at a function attended by director of the school of social sciences Dr Riju Sharma along with has 19 field officers from northeast region.
In his address resource person and coordinator of the workshop Dr Lukose Jacob said, “the PCM is the process of planning, organizing, coordinating, and controlling of a project effectively and efficiently throughout its various phases, from planning through execution, then completion and review to achieve pre-defined objectives or satisfying the project stakeholder by producing the right deliverable at the right time, cost and quality.”
Dr Lukose’s book entitled A to Z on Project Cycle Management is the handy resource material the participants to follow during the 12 hours workshop. The ADBU faculty member has over 30 years of field experience heading the departments of programme support services, human & institutional development services, thematic, quality management and capacity building at Caritas.
