AAPSU raps politicians

Amid an undying controversy over the Chakma-Hajongs refugees, the All Arunachal Pradesh Students Union (AAPSU) has accused the political parties of trying to extract political mileage and thereby allowing the state to face an identity crisis.

In a statement on Monday, the Union has asked BJP and Congress to put aside their differences and work together to resolve the crisis. “Though from party ideology they are different but when it comes to the cause of Arunachal they are an Arunachalee first,” AAPSU said.

The Union further lauded Kiren Rijuju for giving his support to the cause of the state and also the state government moves to file a review petition against the Supreme Court’s verdict.
Moreover AAPSU asserted that union will continue its fight to get justice. It resented the silence of the legislators representing the Namsai and Changlang districts which would have to bear the brunt.
