Who is BJP's CM candidate: Gaurav

Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi said that Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma’s entry into BJP will put the people in utter confusion over the chief ministerial candidate.

Hours after Dr Sarma unofficially joined BJP, Gogoi said that if Sarma is made the chief ministerial candidate then what is in store for Sarbananda Sonowal and Siddharth Bhattacharya.

Talking to reports Gogoi  wondered why and how Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma joined BJP a day after he was proud of his party’s victory in the Tiwa autonomous council polls.

Stunned by widespread criticism, the Centre is understood to have been preparing to clear the decks for deporting 17 Bangladeshi immigrants by Thursday.
