Who is BJP's CM candidate: Gaurav

Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi said that Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma’s entry into BJP will put the people in utter confusion over the chief ministerial candidate.

Hours after Dr Sarma unofficially joined BJP, Gogoi said that if Sarma is made the chief ministerial candidate then what is in store for Sarbananda Sonowal and Siddharth Bhattacharya.

Talking to reports Gogoi  wondered why and how Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma joined BJP a day after he was proud of his party’s victory in the Tiwa autonomous council polls.

Guwahati again organized a green corridor to facilitate a critically ailing baby to rush to New Delhi for better treatment drawing huge applause across the country on Sunday. The Assam government is handing over the Louis Berger scam to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) acting on the Gauhati High Court order which received some crucial papers from CID pertaining to the multi crore which surfaced in 2015.  Sources told Assam Times that Dispur will write to the country’s premier investigation agency in a day or two asking for a thorough probe into the multi crore scam.
