Guwahati again organized a green corridor to facilitate a critically ailing baby to rush to New Delhi for better treatment drawing huge applause across the country on Sunday.
The green corridor was provided to the ambulance carrying the four-month-old boy to the Lokopriya Gopinath Bordoloi International (LGBI) airport by the Kamrup (metro) district administration which helped the baby quickly reach the airport.
Known as Snigdharaag Bhuyan, the four year old kid now is battling for life at the the Gangaram Hospital.
Officials told Assam Times that Senior superintendent of police (traffic) Amanjeet Kaur monitored the 33-km long green corridor deploying seven police vehicles from Pratiksha Hospital to the airport.
Same it happened in New Delhi when the kid was taken to the Gangaram Hospital from the airport.
The Assam government would bear the expenses of the minor’s treatment who hails from Biswanath Charilai.
