Corona virus spectre: Dispur tightens control measures

Guwahati: Responding to the corona visus scare with a slew of transmission control measures, the Assam government on Sunday announced closure till March 29 of all educational institutions, movie halls, gyms and swimming pools. HM Shah: No ILP for Assam

Union Home Minister Amit Shah reportedly, has said today that Assam will not be brought under the purview of the Inner Line Permit system . As per reports the Home Minister told a delegation from Meghalya that the Centre has no plan to bring Assam under the ILP system.
