The Arunachal Pradesh government has barred all visitors from entering the State from 21 March. In an order issued on Thursday, the government said that all visitors/tourist inner line permits stand cancelled with immediate effect. Chief Minister Pema Khandu in a tweet said that as precautionary measure, Arunachal is closing its door to all visitors in view of Covid-19 pandemic. He said all inner line permits (ILPs) issued earlier stand cancelled. He said the well-being of the people of the State comes first. Let us be alert & take necessary precautions. Guwahati: Ratcheting up control measures against the Covid-19 corona virus, the Assam government on Thursday ordered the temporary closure of all liquor bars, night clubs, beauty parlors and salons immediately as a precautionary measure. All parks in the city including Shraddhanjali Kanan, Nehru Park, TR Phookan Park, Sankardev Udyan, etc have already been closed to the public.
