Howls of protest against gangrape
The rape incident runs into a hail of protest across Kokrajhar district on Tuesday. The All Bodo Women Welfare Federation staged two-hour sit in demonstration in protest against gang raped of a 19 - years - old woman in Kochugaon allegedly by two army jawans in the wee hours.
Hundreds of women activist and local residents joined the demonstration with banner, placard and festoons in front of DC office demanding early arrest of the culprits.
ABWWF president Mithinga Basumatary condemned the gang raped by army jawans and demanded stern action against the rapists.

An emergency response mock drill was conducted by the Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) at Habrubari in Kokrajhar district on Friday,which was a part of offsite emergency mock on the IOCL Guwahati-Siliguri underground pipeline to test the preparedness of its emergency personnel.
