Election training programme in Chirang

The Chirang Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer Rupak Kumar Mazumdar on Thursday chaired a meeting cum training programme with all team members, designated to oversee various aspects of election expenditures during election process in the district. Along with assigned officials for video surveillance, video viewing, accounting, complaint monitoring, media certification and the Nodal Officer of Election Expenditure Monitoring cell ADC Dasarath Das, EO Rajiv Kumar Das, ACs Dhrubajyati Das, Jitu Kumar Barman and Dipak Khanikar were present in the meeting.

Mazumdar, addressing the officials strictly instructed all to implement the expenditure monitoring mechanism putting all efforts as per the rules and provisions on expenditure related issues of the ECI. The training was imparted by ADC Dasarath Das. He explained the duties and responsibly of the teams along with monitoring procedure and submitting reports in time. 

 He also informed about the preparedness of election including installation of helpline Telephone No. 03664242316 and provision of E- SUBIDHA for securing all kinds of permission and E- SAMADHAN for placing grievances. He also said that steps have been taken for video coverage in polling stations and webcasting in some locations as per the instruction of the ECI. He called upon the media persons to extend their helping hands for free, fare and peaceful conduct of election in the district. It was stated in a statement by Gagan Narzary,Chirang DIPRO.
