Cutting across political affiliation people of all walks of life deeply condoled the unexpected demise of Dr APJ Kalam. Political leaders, various organizations and students stood united to condole the death of the former president.
Talking to Assam Times, Raha Circle officer Pallavi Kachary said that the news was unexpected for her. Raha town committee chairman Dhruba Das said,“ I am saddened to hear the news of the sudden demise of the missile man”.
Local AASU leader Mridul Hazarika said, “Kalam’s is more powerful than missile. He is one man who commands respect across the planet.” >> Students, teaching and non teaching staffs of Raha College of Fisheries called Kalam a true philanthropist, a visionary, who gave each and every citizen a dream big..”
Raha College principal Dr. Beda Kumar Chaliha said that the sudden death of the former president is an an irrepairable loss to the entire nation.
