NDFB-S ultra killed

Security forces claimed to have killed yet another NDFB(S) militant-responsible for the gory Adivasi carnage in December last year.
Identified as Rinsar Narzary alias Gaitha, he was killed at an encounter at Amteka area in Chirang district on Tuesday wee hours.
The encounter took place in the wee hours during a joint operation by police and CRPF's Cobra battalion.
Police further claimed top havre captured one 9 mm Browning pistol, one 36 HE (high explosive) grenades, one magazine, five live rounds and four fired rounds.

Security forces of  army and police apprehended a self styled section commander  and hardcore  leader of the NDFB-S from Gorebil under Bishmuri  police out post in Kokrajhar district today. Two jehadis arrested

Police apprehended two Muslim Fundamentalist cadres from Gossaigaon and Guwahati in two separate search operations on Monday night.  According to BTAD (IGP) LR Bishnoi, Chirang, Kokrajhar and City police jointly conducted search operation against Muslim fundamentalist and able to arrest two cadres from Gossaigaon of Kokrajhar district and Guwahati.  They were identified as Jahidul Islam of Tulsibil and Pota Miyan of Tulsibil of Kokrajhar district.  A factory made pistol, two round bullets were recovered from them.

Daizy Basumatary crowned Miss Haina

Daizy Basumatary crowned Miss Haina with winning in the Bodoland Fashion Hunt Miss Haina, 2016.
