The United Peoples Party (UPP), regional party in BTAD has boost it's mass based ahead two month left state assembly election in the state.
Sitting Chapaguri MLA Hitesh Basumatary, former Tamulpur MLA Chandi Basumatary, Rafael Daimary, ex secretary of Bodo sahitya sabha, Santash Kaklary, ex president of Bijni district Bodo sahitya sabha, Anil Nanda Pathak, Khudiram Ghosh, Ganesh Swargiyary,BJP leader from Sorbhog, Dilip Boro, social worker formally joined the UPP party along with thousands of supporters at a meeting held at Mushalpur in Baksa district today.
Former Rajya Sabha MP and UPP president Urkhao Gwra Brahma welcomed the newly joined members and felicitated with traditional Arona in the presence of huge gathering.
MLA Basumatary said that he has joined the party along with huge supporters as party has been gain momentum of public supports in the region. He expressed his confidence that UPP party will win in large number of contested seats in the upcoming election.
Brahma, UPP president said that his party has been contesting in all LACs that falls in BTAD region. He has claimed that his party is winning in large number seats where party is contesting in the upcoming election.
