Teachers stages sit-in-demonstration

The All TAD Venture LP School Teacher Association today staged a protest demonstration near the Deputy Commissioner Office, Kokrajhar on their various demands which included provide monthly financial assistance in the line of previous BAC, provincialised the LP and ME school without any condition, which were established before 1st January of 2006. 

The Association demanded provincialize of ventre schools recognized by SEBA after 2006 and provide financial aid to the schools.

A memorandum was submitted to the chief of BTC through the demonstration demanding early provincialised of schools, provide financial aid, provide mid day meal facility including salary of cook men in the school. 

It also demanded that the school under the SSA should be taken up DISE( District Information School Education). It also demanded mid day meal to all the schools. The Association said there are 595 ME and LP school in the BTAD which are yet to be provincilaised with 1200 teachers.

Bishnuram Ray, president and Chilaray Uzir, secretary of the association strongly urged the BTC authority to allot and sanction necessary funds to step provincialised of the schools. They demanded the council administration should take stern step to providing financial aid to the venture schools and make healthy integration. They said that the teachers have been giving service since long years to the interest of educational environment among society, but still today the schools have to stay far from provincialised in it's stability.
