ABSU award to Bodo topper
The All Bodo Students Union will confer the 10th Derhasad Kamal Kumar Brahma award, 2015 to Pranita Basumatary who topped the Bodo medium HSLC examination.
The student body will felicitate Pranita at Rowmari in Chirang district on June 10. Pranita Basumatary of Tamulpur UN Academy of Baksa district scripted first position in Bodo medium in the state securing 91.66 per cent mark in the HSLC examination.

An emergency response mock drill was conducted by the Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) at Habrubari in Kokrajhar district on Friday,which was a part of offsite emergency mock on the IOCL Guwahati-Siliguri underground pipeline to test the preparedness of its emergency personnel.
