Bodo sabha remembered Bineswar Brahma

The Bodo Sahitya Sabha(BSS) observed the 14 14th death anniversary of late Bineswar Brahma,former president of Bodo sabha, organized today in collaboration with Bineswar Brahma Charitable Trust at Chandamari in Kokrajhar.

Hundreds of sabha activists,student and family members of late Brahma paid homage to Brahma on his death anniversary.

Dr Brahma hoisted sabha flag and observed one minute silence in memory of late Brahma. He said that sabha is organizing the death anniversary every year and would organize its anniversary in broad manner after every three from next year.The sabha will keep alive his ideology and philosophy among society through which he had contributed to the literary body.

Mono Kumar Brahma, Chairman of trust and BTC executive member said statue of late Brahma would be make out by next year along with opening of office of the trust at his burial place in Kokrajhar.He has also said that the trust has tried to make clean and care of the memorial site so that his ideology and activities can be alive among society.

Among others, Pushpa Rani Brahma, widow of late Brahma, Brajendra Kumar Brahma, former president of the sabha were present.

 The Kokrajhar police interrogated seven persons a day after miscreants kidnapped Kartick Paul from Saralapra on Sunday. All the seven persons are residents of Saralpara area in Bismuri who are being interrogated in this connection.
