Bodo Sabha observes Literary Day

The Bodo Tunlai San (Bodo Literary Day) was observed in the Bodo-medium institutions with colourful programmes on Sunday. The day was observed by district and primary committees of the Bodo Sahitya Sabha and educational institutions. The BSS flag was hoisted and homage paid to the martyrs who scarified for the cause of development of Bodo language and literature by the district and primary committees of the sabha. BSS general secretary Kamala Kanta Mashahary said the sabha has been working for the all-round development of Bodo medium schools and enrichment of the Bodo language and literature since its foundation on this day in 1952. The Sabha urged the state government to take steps for the development of Bodo medium schools, the Bodo language and literature.
