Dr MMS is the MP from Assam and he should take the moral responsibilty for the violence. The UPA and state government who had been ruling for the last 10 years must be blamed for such butchery. But Congress sees only shadow of Modi on anything. The Congress leaders leaders who used to revel in the luxury and comforts in Delhi offices were always apathetic towards the violence in Kashmir and Punjab during the 1970's and 1980's. The secular leaders were more philosohical and much less practical in understanding the problems of people in all parts of the country. There was similar violence in 2012 in NE. Then the government should have take precautionary measures to avert the occurance of similar incidents. When there is NO capable ruler or leader at the centre, the state governments will also follow the anarchy. "Yatha Raja Thatha Praja" means "AS THE RULER SO THE RULED". If the king of the country is of good character, with good heart and always thinking of well-being of his subjects, and if he is a spiritual thinker and peaceful minded, his subjects will be like him in all these ways too

Normal life comes to a grinding halt on Friday following the 12 hour statewide bandh in protest against Adivasi carnage and police firing in Sonitpur district.Roads across the state are deserted as the vehicles are refusing to ply. Schools and colleges, shops and markets, banks and offices are remaining closed under the impact of the total bandh called by the various Adivasi organizations.The bandh began from 6 in the morning which would end at 6 in the evening. The All BTC Minority Students Union(ABMSU) burnt effigy of Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi in Kokrajhar on Thursday blaming it all on him for the cycle of violence in Kokrajhar and Sonitpur districts. The students activists took out a rally from Bhorgaon ABMSU office shouting slogans against the Chief Minister burnt effigies Gogoi’s effigy along with Songbijit along the JD Road at Bhotgaon in Kokrajhar in the afternoon. The students alleged failure of the state government and demanded stern measures to restore peace in these four trouble torn districts.
An all-out offensive is underway against NDFB-S two days after the militants killed at least 70 innocent villagers in five serial attacks in Kokrajhar, Chirang and Sonitpur districts on Tuesday.This was what Union home minister Rajnath Singh told reporters in Guwahati before wrapping up his two days stock taking visit to Assam.He said army, police and para military forces are going all out against the militant outfit. Normal train service remains disrupted in Assam on Thursday when Adivasi people blocked the rail tacks in protest against the NDFB-S massacre in Kokrajhar and Sonitpur where around 70 people lost their lives.Led Adivasi National Convention Committee, Adivasi people in large number came out of their homes in the various places across the state in the morning and blocked the rail tracks to prevent the trains from moving for several hours.Reports of rail blockade are pouring in from several parts of the state. The trouble seems to have spread beyond Kokrajhar and Sonitpur a day after the carnage that left around 70 killed on Tuesday. The militants unleashed yet another reign of terror in Udalguri leaving an Adivasi man injured on Wednesday. The incident took place in the evening when the militants started indiscriminate firing at a village where one person sustained injury. They further set ablaze several houses after the panic stricken people fled from their homes fearing attack. The injured is battling with death in the hospital. Hours after the attack, Adivasi people in large number came out and burnt down many huts in Lamabari and the Udalguri weekly market forcing police to step in.
