An all-out offensive is underway against NDFB-S two days after the militants killed at least 70 innocent villagers in five serial attacks in Kokrajhar, Chirang and Sonitpur districts on Tuesday.

This was what Union home minister Rajnath Singh told reporters in Guwahati before wrapping up his two days stock taking visit to Assam.

He said army, police and para military forces are going all out against the militant outfit. He further assured Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi of all possible help to firmly deal with the militant activities. Details are awaited.
